Hi, I’m Melanie, the artist behind SEPPISWELT.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been obsessed with horses. My elementary school teacher would sigh, “Melanie, where is this going? All you ever draw are horses!” Little did she know, that passion would lead me to a career I love—and that still fills me with joy every day.

I got my first horse at 13, and I can’t imagine life without them. Over the years, I trained in special education, worked 14 years as a classroom teacher for children with special needs, and completed certifications in equine therapy and neuromotor development. Eventually, I left my teaching career to follow my heart, launching both my learning practice and SEPPISWELT.

Today, I live in the heart of Bavaria, surrounded by my family, my two ponies and two dogs, creating art and helping others through my work.
